Rules for YOGA

To perform yoga, one have to follow some rules and maintain a simple and pure lifestyle. To achive best results one has to follow the do's and dont do's and general guidelines. An yoga practicetioner should not indulge in violent activities. Pease and snese of love should prevail in hus/her mind.

(Do and Dont's Do's)

Do's

1. Early morning is the ideal time for practicing Yogaasans. Keep the bowels and bladder empty before starting Yogasans.

2. Spread a mat on carpet on level and clean ground in a airy space

3. Wear clean light and loose clothing

Take hygienic and light foods. Drink plenty of water at intervals. These are required for a yoga practitioner to get good results.

4. While practicing of yogasanas calm environment and concentrations necessary for all round progress of the body and mind.

5.Shavasana postures should be practiced before and after going for any other Asanas (postures)

6. There should be a gradual increase in the time duration in the practice of Yogasanas.

7. Take nutritious foods and balanced diet as much as possible

Don't Do's

1. Avoid smoking, alcohol

2. Avoid watching violent movies and getting involved to anything that bring disturbance in your mind

3.Do not apply jerk with haste or force in the body movements during practice of Asanas. Movement should be made in perfect posture with slow and smooth rhythm.

4. Do not practice all the asanas at a time in the begriming. The number of asanas and should be according to your physical condition and body requirement. Please check Diseases list to find out your best asanas

5. Duration of practice asanas should not be increased at the begriming

6. Persons suffering form completed diseases or fever should not practice yogasans

7. Women should avoid Yogasanas a. during menstruation, b. Four month after conception c. Three months after delivery

Genegal Guidelines for YOGA practice

1. The palce for practice of yogasanas should be open and airy. USe a piece of mat or carpet spead over a smooth level ground

2. Early morning is the ideal time for preactive of yogasana, If morning is not convenient for any individuals, evening time after the sunset is prefered

3. Before starting yogasans a performar should get his bowel and bladder emptied

4. A yoga performar should take light and healthy food and drink plenty of water

5. Clean and loose clothing are best suitable for yogasanas.

6. Before stating uoga a light streaching free hand execise should be done to achive best results.

7. Yoga can be practiced by any body irrespective of religion, nationality and age. However complex yoga's should not bet attempted by underage and overage person (less then 12 and more then 50). Also heart patients should practice only light yogas that do not bring uncomfort.

8. While practicing asans jerk with haste or force should not be applied in the body Movements should be made in perfect postures with slow and smooth rythm

9. The number of asanas and duration should be increased gradually as per body capability

10. Performing each posture should be followed by SHAVASANA, which provied Relaxations and Energy to the body.

11. Persons sufferings form complicated diseases or severe fever, illness should avoid Yogasana
